Texas-Themed Wine Dinner Raises More Than $7,000 for Houston Rodeo Scholarship Fund

Local Seabrook residents donned their best rodeo duds recently for Bailey’s American Grille first annual Totally Texas Wine Dinner held at the Bailey’s Events and Catering banquet room. The dinner, which raised more than $7,000 for the NASA/ Clear Creek/ Friendswood Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship Fund, featured tasty Texas-flavored fare using only Texas-raised beef, game, seafood and produce, paired with Texas wines.
“Overall, it was a really great night for everyone,” said Brad Bailey, owner of Bailey’s American Grille. “The night was perfect for kicking off rodeo time in Houston, and Chef Leacroy created some fantastic dishes that really captured the flavor of Texas.”
The evening also included a silent auction featuring handmade boots from M.L. Leddy’s, a trip to the Texas wine country, a Houston sports ticket package, concert tickets and more. The auction alone raised $5,100. Guests were also treated to live country music, boot shiners and plenty of Texas wine.
Bailey’s American Grille is a unique neighborhood eatery that offers delicious food, the finest wine and outstanding service in a chic, comfortable atmosphere.
